Stellar Siege

Defend Fortress Theta-7 from the bio-mechanical Swarm.

In development

Stellar Siege is a Godot 4 tower-defense game about defending Fortress Theta-7 from the bio-mechanical Swarm. The current product is a playable single-player campaign prototype with persistent upgrades, scalable sectors, desktop, controller, and touch placement controls, procedural music, and an Android/Google Play integration foundation. A replayable first-run orientation and persistent accessibility/audio settings make the core loop understandable without reading the source.

The core loop

Place towers on a three-lane battlefield with a placement grid and bounded build area, then deploy and start each wave. Every sector contains 10 waves; completing the tenth wave while satisfying the mission objective records the sector as completed, awards XP once for the first completion, unlocks the next sector (up to sector 50), and records the sector’s completion wave. New sessions resume at the highest unlocked sector; the Sectors panel can reset the current run, stage any unlocked sector, and replay that sector’s chapter briefing.

Features

  • Eight towers spanning direct, splash, chain, pierce, slow, burn, and support roles
  • Visible three-lane battlefield with placement grid, bounded build area, and in-game instructions for the deploy/start-wave loop
  • Eight chapter-specific layouts on the Fortress Theta-7 battlefield with distinct lane geometry, terrain palettes, constructed roads
  • Sector-level visual identity across all 50 missions
  • Thirty-nine progressively unlocked enemy archetypes — including six boss variants and six enemy commanders with special abilities

Direction

Combat art must remain readable at the game’s elevated camera and at mobile scale. Silhouette communicates role first; glow color and interior detail are secondary. Runtime assets are compact SVGs so they scale cleanly and stay small in the repository.
