Tiny Tow

Master the swing. Save the cargo. Rebuild the town.

Vertical slice

Tiny Tow is a portrait-first, one-thumb physics hauling game for iPhone, iPad, Android phones, tablets, and foldables. The player drives a tiny tow truck while absurd cargo swings behind it on a physical chain. Good timing produces a clean delivery; bad timing produces a short, funny wreck; every attempt advances the restoration of Rustville.

The core loop

Choose a job -> control momentum -> deliver or wreck -> earn coins, stars, and scrap -> improve truck and town -> unlock a stranger cargo problem -> repeat. Hold to accelerate, release to brake; the play goal is to deliver cargo with condition, speed, and optional mastery objectives. Session: 3-6 minutes, 2-3 hauls and one visible town improvement.

Features

  • One-thumb chain physics: hold to accelerate, release to brake; advanced feathering remains one-thumb
  • Cargo condition and damage, including crack-based damage states, fragility-aware damage, soft-kiss forgiveness, and active-run recovery
  • Three-objective results (condition, speed, optional mastery) with mastery goals updating live as ON TRACK, PENDING, or LOST before Results
  • Ten Region 1 jobs and five marketability cargo hooks; 22 cargo types, six gimmick families, and a launch cargo contract with stable IDs
  • Durable local progression: an idempotent coin ledger, checked current/backup saves, schema-5 truck progression persistence

Direction

"Chunky, Readable, Funny" — flat-shaded 2D vector-style with thick outlines. Reference blend: Overcooked’s toy-town proportions x Good Job!’s slapstick physics staging x Hill Climb Racing 2’s clean side-view readability.

Who it is for. Primary: players who enjoy tactile mobile games, short sessions, visible collection or restoration progress, and comedy that does not require dialogue
